  In one guise or another my wife and I have been using the Tavernetta for nearly 34years now and are finding a real renaissance with it again in recent times.
  They've successfully managed to maintain authenticity, family values, great food, EXCEPTIONAL service from a bygone era, all combined with good value too.
  Would recommend Tavernetta to anyone looking for quality dining!
  Thank you Thomas, Kirsten, Francesco, Diego and team for shining a light this bright for so many years. Long may it continue!

  The food was ok, but nothing special. We were looking forward to homemade pasta (which appears they make based on online photos), but were disappointed. Both pasta dishes we had came out somewhat lukewarm and the sauces were mediocre. The lasagne was the best of our main dishes. Overall, it tasted like cheap ingredients were used. However, our biggest issue with the restaurant was the service. One particular server was very rude from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. He treated other guests (who seemed to be regulars) with great friendliness. Apparently, tourists are not worth his time. Anyhow, we would NOT recommend this place.
